Stand works as advertised but I am disappointed with the wall mount design. The stick is actually very thick and very heavy. Once you add an antenna to this rig, the combined weight of the pole and antenna will really cause the mount to sag. The bracket is 18-gauge galvanized stock at best, and once you attach a U-bolt to it, it will sag noticeably. I fixed it to the top of the house with a spike and it sways a little in the wind. Eventually it gets tired and fails. I could see it failing completely in high winds. I will repeat the mount that holds - the one that came with the kit is not good enough.
