I used it several times on trips abroad. I don't want to take my (large) Louis Vuitton wallet with me (especially to places where pickpockets are more common) so I bought this wallet. It has my ID and a couple of credit cards, and the center pocket is handy for carrying bills (my cousin doesn't want me to use a money clip because people nearby might see how much money I have). However, it's not good to keep everything in one place, so consider buying two purses so you can split everything in half and put it in different pockets or places. I use a second wallet (another kind designed with a belt loop to hang between my legs and pants) to hold half my money and my spare credit cards (in case my most important ones get stolen).
