My 12 month old is really timid when it comes to walking. He'll take 1 or 2 steps and fall. And he'll only do it when mom or dad is there to catch him. I got this so I could help speed up his walking skills. I've used it a couple of times on him now. We have had our cover for just over a month. We watch television with our two large dogs on this futon. The cover is holding up quite nicely. No problems yet.
