I like the look of this case. This suitcase is very light. The iPad slides in fairly easily and nicely. My big, big, big issue with this item is the lid. It's a little thicker in the middle but gets very thin towards the edges. It becomes so thin that it becomes too sharp to hold the case in your hands. It literally crashes into my arms. It's fine lying or standing on its own, but I mainly use my iPad by hand. I had to return it because the only way I could hold it was by laying the iPad down with the flap covering the camera, charging port, and power button. I bought a black iPad mini cover from 5 below 3 years ago. Since then I haven't found another. So I spent almost 3 times more on this one. I felt like being able to have my favorite occasion again was worth it. My old one had a solid hard cover (no folds to change position) with a very soft inner flap. I've never had razor sharp edges on any case I've ever had. I haven't read reviews of others having this problem and I know I'm not the only one to be sensitive. Maybe I just have a defective housing?
