Every year I take plant cuttings and place them in glass jars for rooting. At the end there are a few glasses in my kitchen window. I stumbled across this by accident while looking for butterfly habitats. I fell in love instantly! I had to urgently buy and run. I put in a few small cuttings including spurge and got great results. The lids are easy to open and close to change the water. If desired, they can be used without a lid. The only small flaw I see with this set is that the stand is too small. If you put all the containers with lids in the stand, they won't sit perfectly flush and level. Everything is fine without the lids. Slightly uneven containers do not bother me. This does not affect the functionality of the entire device. I'll attach a photo so you can see what I'm talking about. Don't let that put you off buying the set! It is fully functional and fully justifies its price. I would buy this machine again if needed. I recommend you try it. You can always return it for free if you decide you don't need it.
