First of all. NO, they are not cardboard like another review says. They are a rigid, flexible type of plastic. Secondly. YES, zippers suck. But cable ties at the store cost $1.75 for a whole pack. So no big deal. I bought them as a Christmas present for my sons. I figured they would give it the look I wanted to protect for my son's new bike. You look great. They have pre-made spots to bend and bend the plastic. There are many mounting holes to accommodate different bikes. I personally like her looks. They appear to be sturdy and strong and somewhat flexible. Worth buying.
