I've always wanted one like this. As a result, I broke down and got it! Cost has always been my problem. If you're a teenager that's about $100, do I buy more records? Or expensive antistatic? My decision was always to buy more music! So I kind of learned to live without it! I remember having a record cleaning brush that contained a liquid that would wet the inside of the brush to reduce static when sweeping records, but sometimes you just needed something powerful, like this zerostat gun. But let me just say it's worth every penny and I wish I had invested in it a year ago! I recently received a new record that had so much static it couldn't be easily removed from its paper sleeve! It was terrible. But I used this gun with the record still in the case, first to deaden the static, and then I pulled it out of my sleeve, I used it twice on both sides of the record, and there was no static at all! Doesn't matter! I wish I had saved up for one of these when I was a kid. It's definitely worth it! The trick is to pull the trigger very slowly and then release it. I do both sides twice and it gets rid of static electricity! I am impressed how well it worked! Very satisfied 😊 Buy now! Don't wait until 45 like me! laugh 😂
