The sticky side doesn't stick

Headlights keep sagging and falling off. I ran them across my cabinets and another strip under the top cabinets and a few sections came loose. I can't force her to stay. I love the dimming function, the night light and the remote control! I just wish they were more than temporary due to the fall. I made sure all surfaces were clean and free of dust and dirt. Unfortunately, these strips just don't stick.
