Review on Sigma 18-35mm F1.8 Art DC HSM Lens - Canon Compatible, Black (210101) by Rimba ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing Ive ever used, a great item for everyone!

I chose a lens for my 70d crop for a long time, at first I thought about taking a sigma zoom or a tamron with an aperture of 2,8, after reading the reviews I didn’t want to get into alignment and constant misses of these lenses, although I could try them. The kenon with a constant 2,8 also disappeared, firstly, he did not like his trunk, and secondly, the price is not justified by the high aperture of 2,8. I decided to take this sigma, although the zoom factor is not large, but this is quite enough to shoot both landscapes and portraits. Solid, high-quality lens, no backlash, just a work of art. Heavy. Aperture 1.8 is working, draws bokeh very beautifully. Virtually silent, + for those who shoot video. You won’t regret buying it, it has practically no competitors, with the exception of fixes. Who uses Lightroom, then there is no correction profile for this lens in version 5.2 yet, it only appeared in version 5.3. sample photo: 18 mm http://www. Aeternoss. Ru/gostin-izmailovo/ http://www. Pros
  • Without exaggeration, one of the best lenses for crop. Working 1.8 multi-bladed aperture with very beautiful artistic bokeh. Monolithic body, lenses move inside. Possibility of home alignment using the docking station, and firmware ates. Not the most expensive 72mm filters.
Cons
  • no stabilizer, although is it needed on this lens
