This carrier was very easy to assemble! It's also great to know that it folds up if I ever need to pack it. The carrier works like a piece of luggage with four wheels to slide across the floor. I took the carrier outside to test it on a variety of surfaces and here is my rating of each: Carpet ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The wheels run smoothly and friction is minimal it works great here Concrete ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Surprisingly there were no problems with concrete either! I could feel the texture through the pen but it was still smooth. Grass ⭐️⭐️⭐️ So this thing can kind of walk on grass, but I had to lift a lot of weight to get it moving. Luckily it's not meant to be used on grass, so that's not a problem for me! This stretcher has 2 compartments that can be opened as 1 compartment. I have 2 cats so in the event of an evacuation, vacation or visit to the vet, I know my kittens will be comfortable and easy to manage on their own! Finally, I love the pockets and the functionality of the backpack. There are 3 openings for cats, 4 if you count the opening of the baffle. There is enough space for both cats to ride comfortably and there is a padded base for them to rest on. Being able to ride my cats helps me not to carry any weight on my shoulders or arms. I expect this to be my main carrier from now on!
