I bought this for my Surface Pro 3. I needed the protection I've had for my phone from OtterBox in the past. I ordered a No Disappointment package. The entire case, including my keyboard, is 3/4 inch thick and 12 inches wide. Small difference in size but it really protects my Pro 3. I only have positive feedback. Just know that this doesn't work on anything other than the Surface Pro 3. Don't think you can "make it work" for another model. This is a very special case of Pro3.
