Pro:1. It is black ink and prints in black.2. It is compatible with Epson printers because it is an Epson.3 cartridge. Changing the cartridge is easy. Cons: 1. Epson can leave a lot of ink in the cartridge when it says the cartridge needs to be replaced.2. Epson developed these inks to prioritize "brilliance" over durability. The ink is water soluble. So if you spill coffee on the page, the ink will bleed all over. If you shoot in a very humid environment, the same thing happens. Pages don't last long.3. The ink bleeds horribly on plain paper, resulting in a very washed-out print. Of course, this isn't a laser printer, but it's still very blurry for an inkjet printer. Photo printing is expensive compared to online shops or local printers. This is generally true of all inkjet printers compared to Snapfish, Walgreens, Flickr, CVS etc. I wouldn't buy this printer if I knew Con#2 but as long as I have it it's ink. Buy.
