    Beware of non-HP ink

    I bought this along with the black cartridge I already had. When I turned on my HP Envy printer, I got a message on my computer saying it's not an HP cartridge or it's damaged and I need to buy one from HP. Unfortunately I threw away the packaging and can no longer send it back. I guess I don't have $35 right now. Warning: Avoid Envy printers. Printing is very expensive and should only be purchased from HP. I tried inking them through Costco but that didn't work either.

    The product is below average in terms of the number of pages it can print.

    I have bought the product twice. The first time, probably a few years ago, I printed out a color printout for my child's science project presentation. The ink ran out well before I could print the photos needed for the project, about 50 or so. The second time was last week. And on the weekends, I worked with my young son on a school family history project. After printing about 75 images, the HP 4x6 Photo Paper ran out of ink and I was unable to print any more photos.     The very large size is still disappearing too quickly!

    HP inks produce excellent photo quality, but even at the lowest draft mode, only about 50 prints are made before the cartridge is completely empty. I used almost 3 color cartridges before running out of black, no fun and very expensive even with Revain Prime. Hopefully HP can do something to fix this.

    I only got 213 pages from this crappy cartridge.

    I have purchased a standard sized tri color cartridge three times and each time I have used it it has printed less than half of what it promised. declares that he can give 400. Why am I not surprised. I only got 213 pages from this crappy cartridge.

    What a waste of money

    No ink and I didn't have to open it until a few days past the return deadline. I don't print much but thought this cartridge would do more than a few copies. I was shocked when my printer stopped working and found the cartridge was completely empty. Normally, when you replace a cartridge, the ink gauge shows that there is some ink left on the bottom of the cartridge. Not this one. What a waste of money. The return period expired at the end of March and I only found it empty today - April 2nd…

    Note that HP has raised prices by 20%.

    Please note that HP has increased their prices by 20% since my last purchase. The ink only lasts a month with limited use. Find another printer that uses less ink. Additionally, HP forces you to sign up for auto-delivery when you ask for help.

    Non-genuine HP cartridges

    Don't waste your time and money. My printer didn't load them. I got an error saying they don't fit. Went to Meyer, bought some cartridges and the printer said they were original HP cartridges.

    This is a big robbery and I made it.

    This is a big rip off and I've reached my limit. I received a damaged cartridge and sent it back. The only problem is that I had to buy another cartridge for an outrageous price of $42. My last purchase was April 19th and I hardly ever use my printer considering I have an officer's printer elsewhere. It's only May 5th and I've already run out of ink with such limited use. I had to check the ink levels because it's absolutely ridiculous!

    WASTE OF MONEY! Fits printer parts and supplies

    What a waste of money! Printed about 75 4x6 color photos before the cartridge ran out. Cartridge received on Wednesday, installed on Thursday, images printed on Friday and Sunday. Dried ink shouldn't be a problem. Arrived in official HP box and packaging via Revain. Got more mileage from the stock cartridge. VERY disappointed with the performance of the cartridge. Guess XL stands for Xtremely Laughable Ink Level.
