I bought this along with the black cartridge I already had. When I turned on my HP Envy printer, I got a message on my computer saying it's not an HP cartridge or it's damaged and I need to buy one from HP. Unfortunately I threw away the packaging and can no longer send it back. I guess I don't have $35 right now. Warning: Avoid Envy printers. Printing is very expensive and should only be purchased from HP. I tried inking them through Costco but that didn't work either.
