Frustrated by the high cost of my favorite mineral makeup, I decided to try a recipe from the Wellness Mama blog myself . This was the author's recommended product (among others). It comes in a small jar but you only use a little (1-2 teaspoons depending on your batch size) so I expect it will last a few months for my purposes. The color is dark bronze (brown) and slightly shiny. The glitter/sparkle isn't very noticeable and just makes for a nice shimmering effect - nothing too daring. This was my first time doing mineral makeup and while I still play with color levels for my skin tone I was very happy with the results and will definitely do more in the future.
