Disposable blades that have been used for a long time. When I tried this razor I was pleasantly surprised to find that I shave much cleaner than disposable blades. In addition, after using disposable blades, hair and soap always get caught in the blades and are difficult to clean. With this razor blade, you can simply unscrew the base and wipe away cut hair and debris, leaving it completely clean. You can also flip the blade to use it twice. Because blades are much cheaper (cents than dollars) than disposable blades, they are much cheaper, provide a closer shave, and are cleaner too. I was a little worried about rust or thread wear but I've been using this for a few months and shave daily and there is no sign of rust and the handle threads look new. I would have bought it ten years ago if I had known it was that good. The only thing to watch out for is not to apply too much pressure and be a little careful with the angle of the razor to avoid cuts. The razor is not as foolproof as disposable razors and behaves more like a knife.
