I chose between buying an iPad mini, which my wife and Shiels already have, I chose Shield and I'm very satisfied, now I play half-life 2 and doom 1/2/3 from it in the evenings :) Its pros: Fast, convenient, keeps the battery well, if you turn off the cellular connection when it is not needed and wifi is in standby mode. Sufficiently durable, supports up to 4 joysticks, although I have only seen games for a maximum of three. Its cons: Some of the nVidia tablets are recalling due to the fire hazard of the battery, a tablet with a Y01 battery, look for detailed information on the nVidia off site by keywords shield recall.
