I was looking for tennis shoes to wear when I'm running errands, walking my dogs and so on, but this shoe is more than that. I was hoping for soft comfort , but got a very comfortable shoe. I was ready to put in the insole, but it's not necessary. These shoes are very comfortable to wear anywhere, even during exercise. I use them on my treadmill and my feet don't hurt after walking on them for 30-45 minutes. I wear socks, but you have the option not to wear them. The outer part lifts and hugs my ankle so well it looks like I'm already wearing socks. The shoes themselves are fully breathable but can be washed if necessary, although air drying is recommended. Since it's still over 90 degrees here I just leave them outside and they dry in minutes. The cushioning of these shoes is like walking on clouds for me. For the price I paid and the comfort of this shoe is definitely a great deal. I'll keep an eye on them in hopes they come in other colors.
