Serves to protect the device
The product is a bit cheaper than I realized from the picture. The hole for the pipe is on the side. I had to cut. A slot to place my plumbing and electrical wiring. I reinforced the plastic with tape. It locked the device and the drawer below worked fine. I think I will only have 1 season of this so it might be a recurring issue. Got the job done with little effort.
