I tried the camera in my basement first, but the picture was too grainy for the dark one in my basement. My Aukey webcam worked better in this situation. I constantly experience a jump in focus. I don't notice him, but he's always there when I look for him. I hope there is a firmware patch that fixes this. A much better app for him was in my office. I like the privacy slider that allows me to cover the camera lens. I have a small bezel on my monitor and the bracket protrudes about 1/4 inch into the screen. I put it on a second monitor where it doesn't bother me much but wish it was smaller. Bright area, I think the picture quality is good. I prefer to turn off the light in my office and still see the picture bright. It also handles green screen backgrounds well in Zoom. It's cloudy and shaded by trees outside, with floor to ceiling windows on the left side of the photo.
