Worked on the perfume in the bag but no smoke smell

I bought a used bag and when I received it it had a strong smell of perfume. I sprayed Smells Begone all over the booth and let it air dry. Perfume lost! The product itself has no odor, which is very good. But I tried the same for a bag with a strong smoke smell and it didn't work. I've sprayed the bag repeatedly and let it dry a few times but to no avail. I used almost the whole bottle with it. Also tried using coffee beans but the smoke smell was too strong. It worked as intended for the first bag, but it has its limitations.
