Definitely recommend. The weak point of most selfie sticks is the connection between the stick and the mount, many others just have a small piece of brittle plastic holding the camera mount at the end of the stick. I use them for paragliding videos and if I just pick up the camera to tilt it back a little I'll snap others instantly causing the camera to fall over 1000 feet and break. This one is very strong but still very light, easy to extend and fold (even with one hand while paragliding) and when extended and locked it is very strong and doesn't flex or wobble at the joints like some others.
