Joyful magazine - Gifts

Woman waiting. I bought this magazine for my wife as a keepsake to start during her pregnancy and to share with our second child (daughter). This book is even more thorough and beautiful than I thought it would be when I ordered it. My wife loves to keep a journal and takes 1 million photos of her kids every day. This is the way to do it in an accessible format from birth to age 18. This starts with the birth of the child and the relevant information is then moved to the address every year. Each year begins with a prayer for the year, then a page of birthday celebrations, then a page of all about you, year-end questions, wisdom, forget-me-nots, and finally photos of the year. My wife received the book with tears in her eyes. A new baby is exciting and adding another family member is always a new adventure. The pages of the book are medium to heavy. They have a smooth texture and my wife used pencil and ballpoint on the pages with no problem. My wife used scrapbooks to glue the photos into the book, so she used her acid-free glue stick. The magazine itself is hardcover and looks like pink linen. The binding holds up well, especially since the magazine has many pages. There is enough space in the book to add some pictures. There are really only two pages of pictures for each year. This should not detract from the conclusion of the book. My wife had a bit of work to get back to where our daughter is now. She wants to be caught up by the time the baby is born. It was an amazing magazine to remember and look to the future.
