These things are amazing, look a lot better and have more light output than the cheap halogen bulbs found in most vans. Also much better than modified LED bulbs as the light is much more diffused (compared to tiny bright LED bulbs) and they dim perfectly smoothly from 0-100% thanks to the built-in dimmer. They can also be linked, so if you adjust the brightness on one device, all the others will match. They are so thin that most people who see them in my van ask if I need to cut holes in the ceiling to fit them. Performance is very similar to fluorescent, slightly warmer than traditional fluorescent, but they turn on instantly and dim slowly. The power consumption depends on the brightness. At full brightness (almost unbearably bright) the lights draw about 1.2A each. For reasonable brightness, light the RV at about 0.5A each. I have replaced all the fixtures in my van with these and have never looked back!
