YES, this EMI cap REDUCES RF (radio frequency) emissions from cell phone towers, Wi-Fi, etc. I have tested this cap with my TriField EMF meter and can confirm a significant reduction in EMF. (The TriField meter tests electric fields, electromagnetic fields, and radio frequency (RF) emissions — EMF is the umbrella term for all three fields.) RF is radiated from cell phone towers, microwave ovens, and many electronic devices. Do not put your cell phone in the cap and test call your cell phone with this cap as the cell phone is constantly amplifying its signal which increases the radio frequency. This is not an accurate test. A reliable test really requires a good EMF meter. Shielding clothing attenuates (attenuates) the signal to varying degrees depending on the fabric. There's a trade-off between comfort and cushioning, and we can't wear solid metal clothing comfortably! This cap is both soft and very effective against radio frequencies. It's so comfortable and fits me so well that I even sleep to block radio frequencies from smart office meters while I sleep.
