Studio Basic Ballet Girls' Clothing for Active by Capezio Review

I bought this brand of ballet tights for my daughter thinking they were super soft because that's what this brand is known for. It wasn't too hard when I received the item, so I decided to give it a try. After I washed it, it was very, very rough. I paid the target would be better. A disillusioned enemy I paid for.

Capezio is a famous dance name. However, I will NEVER buy them again because the tights are scratched on the inside and especially on the waist. I now have four unworn pairs.

Should have sent them back as soon as I opened them. Too hard feeling for me let alone my 7 year old daughter. She has worn them for a total of 5 ballet lessons and they have a hole in the toe. Disappointed to say the least. I thought it was a good brand. I would not recommend it.

We have already bought these and will be buying more. When the girls informed us a few days before their ballet performance that they had holes in their training tights, we quickly ordered them from Best Buy. As always, they live up to expectations and arrive on time. If we need them again we will order the same ones.

These are our favorite tights. They hold up well to washing. They are thicker than other tights but they last us several months. They are difficult to stretch at first but once they break my daughter can put them on without help. We've only been using them for a few years. Please don't stop making these tights!

My daughter is 31lbs so I ordered a small as she was caught between a toddler and a small and thought she had room to grow. They leave absolutely no extra room and are so tight on her that she can hardly breathe. Not to mention that she's been wearing them for maybe 30 minutes and they already have a catch. It's not worth that much money.

My daughter is 7 years old and I ordered size 8-10. They fit perfectly and had no wrinkles or baggy areas. They are a great traditional ballet pink, not as tanned as the product photo. Her foot barely touched the car door when she sat down to dance, and the fabric tore the first time she put it on. return for refund.

I ordered size M/S for my daughter, who according to the chart is right in the middle of this size. They were very small and difficult to put on. I ended up getting them almost complete, but they still seemed a little low. The bathing suit kept them where they should be. The material also wasn't as soft or stretchy as the other brands of dance tights we prefer (our favorites are Danskin and Revolution).

Very good quality, thick tights for dance performances. But my daughter, she came too tight. After spending an hour in it, she complained that the reinforced waist made her stomach ache. If you are not sure about the size, you are wrong on the large side.

I love that they were stretchy and durable for my daughter's first pair of tights. She found herself in league with those who hate pantyhose. Oh good. I still recommend them.

My daughter is 3 years old and she bought her a size 3 and the pantyhose band is tight so not sure about buying a size up? Will make a difference but the group is comfortable. Not very soft either. But I think it won't be bad for daytime use.

These tights are very well made, although they run small. My daughter is almost 5, about 30-35 lbs and wears a dress size 14. The little tights were too small. Otherwise they are great quality!

Haven't really used them yet. They are for my daughter's upcoming dance review but if they are the same as any Capezio products I have used I expect excellence!

Capezio is written on the belt. The label says Capezio. Even the RN number on the back of the label is the same model number. But what's on sale here has nothing to do with the other high quality Capezio tights we've bought before. First, the tape is a hard elastic band that makes the seam on the back very stiff and scratchy, as another reviewer mentioned. I ordered tights for little girls to grow to size 6x. I received m/s tights which according to the size chart on the box should fit a 40" 50lb child but they are too short. Next try on tights for tall girls 8/10. Hope they fit. The tights look well tailored and should be fine once we get the right size.

I bought several of these and they broke on the first use. I was disappointed and hoped they would last a little longer. I would recommend a different brand or a more durable option. They also work a little less.

The texture is not soft and the fit is small. We were supposed to use them for a solo concert, but my kid felt bad in them. Would NOT buy them again.

The size I ordered was 12-14 and anyone who knows girls clothes is size XL (large is 10, medium is 8 etc.). My daughter wore a 10+ last year so I ordered 12-14 and only came the large and they were super snug. But it was an out-of-state dance competition, so I had to make it work. I will buy the adult size next time. My daughter is 11 years old, 5ft 1/2" tall and weighs about 95 pounds.

The tights were too small for my daughter. She still wears them but they are very tight and uncomfortable. The next size is too big for her.

These tights were just what my daughter needed, the only problem was that they were small. I ordered her a normal size and we couldn't even get close to getting her fully on. I went back and ordered the next size up and they still barely fit her. They don't have much stretch.
