Flaps on the pockets protect against sawdust. Waxed canvas feels like leather.

I like this apron. I have had a Rockler apron for many years. I always fell asleep with sawdust. It had pocket flaps. No more sawdust in your pockets. The apron ties are very strong and the waxed fabric feels like leather. Flexible yet strong. The shoulder pads are also very comfortable. Once you pick it up and take it off, it's like it's fully unzipped. I took some 1/2" washers and tied a knot where I wanted the straps to stop. That way I can hang it on the straps filled with my "stuff" and put it on without closing the straps to the end I'm sure I'll have it for at least 10 years or better.
