Review on 6AmLifestyle Charger Cable Upgraded Charging Nintendo by Cameron Reed

Excellent for charging my new 3DS XL with a laptop or other USB based charger. It's a cable so it's hard to enjoy, but it works as expected. Updated November 06, 2020 As per my previous updates below, as a buyer you need to understand what you are buying. If you buy the blue version of this cable you will receive exactly what you see in the picture. If you purchase this cable in the "yellow" version, despite the image you see in front of you (yellow cable jacket with nylon braid and gold-colored connectors), you will receive a cable that looks exactly like the blue cable with one exception will be yellow. The yellow cable has no nylon braid cover and the connectors are silver instead of gold. See my photos for an example. Obviously none of this affects the performance of the cable (they all work very well). Just state what you get. Updated October 29, 2020 I ordered two of these cables a while ago and they have worked great. I recently realized I need two more, so I'm ordering two more. The first image is from the Revain product page and is of the exact same cable I previously purchased. There were other options (Blue, Yellow, something else), but I chose the same cables as the previous purchase. What I received was two of the yellow ones (second picture) NOT what I ordered (first picture). The ones I have are light yellow with silver connectors, no cord in a mesh with gold connectors. I wrote to the sellers, they kindly replied and asked if I would like a refund or a replacement for the correct item. I asked for suitable cables. Instead they sent me ONE (not two, but ONE) double length yellow cable with silver connectors. It doesn't matter what I ordered, what I specified, what I asked for. In fact, they outdid themselves this time and only sent me one wrong cable instead of two wrong cables. Too bad Revain doesn't support 0 stars for the rating. Do not buy from this seller. They obviously don't bother to read or check orders or email inquiries and instructions (even if they ask for it themselves) and if you get what you ordered that's pure luck to you. Updated 10/05/2020Despite my experience with this seller, they kept asking about a way to fix things for me. They finally succeeded on the fourth try. I had to change my expectations as the cable I wanted actually no longer existed (if it doesn't exist, why can I still buy it?). The seller then referred me to another cable offer (completely different offer page of the same item: Name: 6amLifestyle 3ds Charger Cable, 5FT High Speed USB Power Charger Charger Cord for Nintendo 3DS XL / 3DS/ 2DS / DSi/ DSi XL ( black white). After deciding on a new type of cable, the seller was finally able to send me the two cables I needed. It was four stars at best. It was an unsuccessful attempt to get the same cable I got last time and ordered after that had a few bad organized attempts downgraded my rating to 1 star however the seller kept trying to fix everything and was very nice and polite at the same time this is quite rare these days hence the reason why I lowered my rating from 1 Star increased to 3 stars just because - for her perseverance, kindness and generosity.
