Very fragile good for me

Got these for my 8 year old gaming son. Loved the look of them, but very fragile. We had less than 2 months and already broke. Not because of his handling with them, but because the bulk of the remote broke off from the base of it, almost couldn't get it to slide of Nintendo. Thought I was doing good, but next time will spend a little more for better quality.

Pros
  • NSW-379U
Cons
  • The HORI Split Pad Pro is not water-resistant, which can be a concern for players who like to take their gaming on the go

No more cramping hands!

As an adult with hands not compatible with a normal joycon, these grips are great! While they may not be bluetooth enabled to use independent of the switch console, they offer a much better orientation for grip and above all else, less need to bend your thumb at uncomfortable angles to hit the buttons!Where I manage maybe an hour of play on the joycons, these let me play all day with little discomfort. No issues with thumbstick drift either so a major plus over normal joycons already!

Pros
  • Nintendo Switch
Cons
  • The controller's size may not be suitable for players with smaller hands

Pokémon Legends Arceus Split Pad Pro

pros:-they feel and look amazing. i have big hands so it’s a bonus that they are bulky.-they are super light weight.-they will dock with the switch!cons:-no amiibo compatibility which is stated in the manual of the device but it would be nice if they had that capability.-no rumble capability.-no gyro capability, that is also stated. (i knew all of these things before buying this, just would be nice to have. especially if i can spend a little more money to get that in some joycons.)hopefully i…

Pros
  • 8 ounces
Cons
  • The product does not include a charging cable, which can be frustrating for consumers

An absolute must if you use your switch a lot on the go!

These work very well and make the switch a lot easier to hold onto in handheld mode, the actual D-Pad is a nice addition to have for games where you need or use it a lot, and they feel very nice in the hand on the switch. If you're someone who is bothered by how something feels, fair warning that these are light as a feather when not attached to the switch, and do feel pretty hollow when on their own, but when they're mounted up they feel solid and comfortable, don't wiggle or twist at all under

Pros
  • Been using these for months and can say it it hasn't drift and I usually go crazy button smashing
Cons
  • The split design can make it difficult to hold the controller for extended periods of time

Broken after less than 2 weeks of use

I went to go hop on some fort and I noticed my character was moving ever so slightly. So I took the game pads off of my switch and put them back on, which ended up making the problem worse. Now they're unusable. I just look at the ground or sky and can't do anything else. Beware when making this purchase because I'm sure this is a product wide thing

Pros
  • Controllers
Cons
  • The controller lacks a headphone jack, which can be inconvenient for players who prefer to use headsets

Not thick enough to hold onto

It is better to hold onto the switch for adult hands. But it's not as thick as a normal controller. Your ring and pinky finger have nothing to wrap around / hold onto. So it's not as comfortable as just using a bluetooth controller. Which is a bummer since I thought this would be a good way to use in handheld mode. So for 65 dollars and lack of original joy con features I wouldn't recommend. Only good thing is button layout.Better than original joycons for handheld but not by enough to justify…

Pros
  • Italian, English, French
Cons
  • The product's price point may be prohibitively expensive for some consumers

GREAT for those with gripping challenges

If you have any sort of difficulty with gripping the smaller joycons, or if you have arthritis or EDS, these joycons are amazing. So much bigger and easier to hold onto. So much more comfortable to use for longer periods of time. Also really nice if you have bigger hands or longer fingers. Takes away the fatigue that you can get trying to hold on to tiny objects. 10 out of 10 definitely recommend

Pros
  • Accessories
Cons
  • The product is only available in one color scheme, which may not appeal to all consumers

Had to return this product

The products are great to look at it cause that's all they were good for cause they didn't work they wouldn't even turn on smh

Pros
  • The ergonomic design of the controller provides gamers with a natural grip that prevents hand fatigue during extended gaming sessions.
Cons
  • The controller may not feel as responsive as other gaming controllers on the market

Almost everything I’m looking for in a controller…

Has nearly everything I’m looking for: turbo, rear assignable buttons, ergo grip, comfortable sticks… I gave it 4 stars, because the controllers aren’t blue tooth capable—they have no innate battery supply by themselves, like the JoyCons do, so they don’t operate unless connected to the Switch. The other minor gripe I have is that you cannot assign buttons from one controller to the opposite controller (i.e., the left controller buttons cannot be assigned to the right’s rear button, and vise…

Pros
  • Officially Licensed
Cons
  • The HORI Split Pad Pro may be heavier than other gaming controllers, which can be inconvenient for long gaming sessions

Best hand-held controller

This is hands downs the premier controller for handheld gaming. I love that it matches my white OLED joycons and new Pokemon game. It's comfortable, light weight, and packed with features. Best of all it's an official licensed product by Nintendo. Be sure to get the matching case to support the larger than usual control pads.

Pros
  • HORI
Cons
  • The product is not widely available in retail stores, which may inconvenience consumers

Great, comfortable, and work well

These are great, super comfortable, and fit in the dock. They are nicely responsive and accurate. We haven’t had any issues with drift like other reviews have mentioned.

Pros
  • Improved Battery Life
Cons
  • The product's design may not be aesthetically pleasing to all consumers

Just use Joy cons had more drift with this product

I got this product on Monday and 3 days later I got drift so bad I can't even use the left one all it does is go up can't use menus or anything no games either I had to detach it so I could turn my console off I tested with all my joy cons and the problem is definitely this product hopefully not all Hori products are this bad.

Pros
  • My son likes it
Cons
  • The HORI Split Pad Pro is an additional cost for an already expensive gaming system

Great For Guys With Big Hands

These Are Great, I Have Always Had A Hard Time Holding The Joy-Con Controllers After A Long Gaming Session And These Split Pad Pros Are Super Comfortable. I Have Used These For Many Hours At A Time And Can Truly Say These Are Worth Every Penny Spent, Plus The Arceus Design Is Cool Also. I Have Included Several Photos To Show Detail Of The Artwork And Also A Size Comparison To The Joy-Con Controllers As Well.

Pros
  • Wide Compatibility
Cons
  • The controller lacks a gyroscope, which can limit gameplay options

Switch OLED users beware.

Bought this for my switch OLED, but it seems the plastic tip of the controller ended scratching my switch in the back. If repeated use the scratches would become more noticeable.

Pros
  • Larger grip, buttons, triggers, analog sticks, and d-pad
Cons
  • The product is not compatible with all Nintendo Switch games
