I bought this to be able to control my Lance trailer air conditioner with a Yamaha alternator. I live at 7400 feet in Colorado and often camp at even higher elevations, and Yamaha dropped the A/C starting load. I installed SoftStartRV with no problems (I once called Brian Gibson at SoftStartRV support - he called back right away and made great recommendations). Now my generator can easily handle the air conditioning! No more hot nights in my trailer wishing I could control the air! Great product and great customer support.
