Every night we cook different hot dishes and I'm always on the lookout for coasters. They are not intrusive and it is not difficult to arrange and place dishes on them, but sometimes that is not enough for me. I saw this and almost gave up buying it, but I liked the design, I liked what other people were saying in the reviews so I thought I'd grab it and check it out. It's so convenient! People don't even realize it's not a runner. I am very happy with this purchase. I wish it was a little longer, but now I just put it on my table, put all my hot and cold things on it, and it looks great and is really comfortable! I would give this item to friends, family, hen party and/or housewarming gift. It's a functional gift that can be used indoors and outdoors.
