Review on 🍫 FITCRUNCH Protein Bars: Robert Irvine's 6-Layer Baked Bar with Only 6g of Sugar (Variety Pack, 12 Bars) by Paula Stewart

Let me start by loving this brand and the taste. Nobody sells it locally anymore, so I had no choice but to order it and look forward to a big box of my favorite protein bars. That's where the problem occurred. The box was delivered to my porch as is. No packaging or protection, just a box with bars on the porch. Worse, it wasn't even sealed! Luckily my husband saw it being dumped and was with him within minutes - I mean less than 3 minutes because he was working in the yard. When I received it inside I was shocked that not only was there no packaging but the box itself wasn't even sealed! We live in South Florida and if he stood on the porch for more than 10 minutes he would be infested with ants as was the case with several sealed boxes of non-food items. The driver must not have turned on the air conditioning, or it must have been somewhere in the back of the truck because the grilles had melted. Mind you even the minutes of sitting it on the porch would have melted it a bit but I mean pretty much everything except the bottom layer which has completely melted, I could feel how warm the box and top rails are were (our porch is shaded). The first bar I opened was a wet mess so I put the box in the fridge to make it stronger. When I tried to eat the first bar after a few hours in the fridge, it was rock hard and I couldn't even take a bite, so I put the rest in the pantry and left the opened one on the counter. When it was thawed enough to eat, it was NOT OLD! Since I don't have the packaging to return the box, I'll stick with it. The only bars that didn't go stale were the bottom layer, so it's not because I put them in the fridge first. Almost $30 down the drain - I'd like my money back but I'm afraid I can't return it unwrapped. I learned my lesson the hard (melted) way! I will never order them again! *I couldn't upload photos of the unsealed box or the melted bars!
