Easily adjustable stand. I needed to move the monitor closer to the table and wanted to be able to adjust it. There are several aspects that together have led to four stars. First, it's not completely black, but more of a light grey. Second, even with a 27-inch monitor, it doesn't sink to table-level. Third, adjusting the tension requires the use of a hex wrench and a few turns. Finally, it's not as heavy as my smaller kickstand and seems to make up for that with a small footprint. However, once installed, it allows for easy tilt adjustment and height compensation by weight. Also, the cable routing through the middle is a nice feature.
