Warship level monitor stand

While this particular monitor stand might be a bit over the top for my small 12 inch LCD monitor, I wanted something very solid that wouldn't move, wobble, wobble or anything like that. This is a battleship quality riser and holds my monitor very well. As a radio amateur I use the display to monitor the status of digital repeaters via a web browser on a Raspberry Pi. The monitor and stand are on a table next to my main seat chair, which places the monitor almost at eye level, which is very…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Piggy bank price

So I got this to replace the stand that came with my Samsung screen. The one that came with the screen was too big and got in the way of my desk. this guy is way better. The base is a good size and wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the thickness. It's about half an inch thick, and yeah, that doesn't sound like much until I tried sliding the keyboard back over it and just moving everything away from the desk. I could live with a too thick base but the worst thing about this stand is the stand

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons

Great stance but too high.

The only thing I didn't notice from previous reviews before purchasing this stand is that the monitor doesn't lower down low enough. I like the form factor (my kvm fits flat and is centered on the base), I like the fact that the monitor can be easily raised and lowered (just push down or pull up). However, the lowest level is still MUCH higher. Look at my photo where I can put 4 fingers between KVM and monitor. It's still quite a lot which is why I gave it a rating of 3. I had to raise my chair

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Annoys

Nice adjustable stand.

Easily adjustable stand. I needed to move the monitor closer to the table and wanted to be able to adjust it. There are several aspects that together have led to four stars. First, it's not completely black, but more of a light grey. Second, even with a 27-inch monitor, it doesn't sink to table-level. Third, adjusting the tension requires the use of a hex wrench and a few turns. Finally, it's not as heavy as my smaller kickstand and seems to make up for that with a small footprint. However…

Great stand at an affordable price

This stand could be called Revain Basic but to me it is Revain Awesome! The stand that came with my 34 inch Samsung monitor was pretty bad. My main goal was to find something with height adjustment that wasn't available on the stock stand. Many stands on the market didn't have an easy way to adjust the height on the fly. This one looked the same, but I had concerns as my monitor was larger than the recommended size. I'm happy to report that this hasn't been a problem and works great (of course…

Marine Monitor Stand

While this particular monitor stand may be overkill for my small 12" LCD monitor, I need something very strong, not moving, wobbling, wobble or do something like that. This is a battleship quality riser and holds my monitor very well. As a radio amateur I use the display to monitor the status of digital repeaters via a web browser on a Raspberry Pi. The monitor and stand are on a table next to my main seat chair, which places the monitor almost at eye level, which is very convenient as I don't…

Pros
  • Monitor can be used in portrait or landscape (360°) orientation
Cons
  • Not sure

When unpacking, the foot seemed too light and too plastic. There's just a metal disk and arm mount and then a large plastic cover. After securing the bracket with two screws (the Allen key is conveniently attached to the bottom of the monitor base), I noticed that it's very heavy at the back and could easily fall off. It was unlike any other monitor stand I've had. I went ahead hoping that the weight of the monitor would make up for it and it worked. Once attached, the monitor moves excellently

Pros
  • Backed by a 1-year limited warranty from Amazon Basics; Please read the user manual carefully before using this product.
Cons
  • boring packaging
