I bought this because it was, according to the description, good for ponds up to 200 gallons. I have a 165 gallon pond so I bought it because it had a built in UV light and good for my size pond, right? While it is a nice little pump, right on the box it states that it is good for ponds up to 150 gallons, with only a 192 gpm rating. The only bad thing I have to say about this filter is that it seems to retain a bit of buoyancy after being submerged. I had to put a decent size rock on top of it to keep it from moving or sitting cockeyed.Otherwise, I had a pretty filthy pond and within a day the water was extremely clear. It only left the pond scum that had built up on the rocks in the bottom of the pond(which they sell treatments for).For an all in one system I am very satisfied with its performance. It was easy and simple to get ready. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The light gives off just enough light that it's not excessive.

Ultimately, I did not install this product. It came with 2 plugs. Not sure why it needed 2, other similar products only have 1. I thought it looked sturdy and well made. Rather pricey compared to others. Managing 2 heavy duty chords rather than 1 was more than I wanted to deal with. Put it back in the box for a return.
