When unpacking, the foot seemed too light and too plastic. There's just a metal disk and arm mount and then a large plastic cover. After securing the bracket with two screws (the Allen key is conveniently attached to the bottom of the monitor base), I noticed that it's very heavy at the back and could easily fall off. It was unlike any other monitor stand I've had. I went ahead hoping that the weight of the monitor would make up for it and it worked. Once attached, the monitor moves excellently in all directions, the height adjustment stays where you left it, the stability is very good to excellent, the light weight makes it easy to carry, and the price is reasonable. In fact, it also fits 27" to 28" monitors (Benq and Acer 27" tested models). However, the wider the monitor, the more likely it is that the edge will touch the base in portrait mode (longest length from top to bottom below. ). Some 27's have no problem while others may never return to normal tilt when rotated in portrait mode. Some with large frames just don't work at all in this mode. I tested a Benq (GW2765) that worked , but scraped from the base to the edge of the bezel, and an Acer (XB271Hu) that worked without any issues regardless of display/rotation mode; Acer was 1/2+" shorter. Your monitor's mileage may vary. For the price still recommended.Whether you want to position your monitor or chair, have the ability to rock, swivel, adjust the height, or anything else to get the best viewing angle, swap them out The table mount that can be used works perfectly.
