Protects against airborne viruses I think there's a filter. It's easier to use than a mask. Maybe it can protect your face from the cold this winter.

These socks are great! I bought 2 packs for my 11 year old son and he loves them. They have a drawstring at the back so they fit perfectly on his head. And they came with a lot of filters! I've tried so many gaiters and love that this one has an adjustable fit and filter pocket. It's so easy to change the filters and the fabric is really soft and doesn't make me feel manly!

I love everything about it. The material is soft and breathable unlike other face coverings. It's so easy to wear all day you'll almost forget. It's amazing when you're outside for a long time because you can easily pull it up and down and unlike other face coverings it stays in place! I have one for everyone in my family

Although the material feels thicker, my husband says it wicks moisture away from breath better during exercise. He prefers these masks to skinny misers.

Not as good as other gaiters for filtering. For example for cycling. They always had a nose wire. This actually keeps the lens from fogging up less than others I've had in the past. The positive reviews are probably from people comparing it to ear masks or neck seals that only came with filter pockets. It's better than I think.

In general, these leggings are not bad. It fits great (adjustable at the back) and has a foldable nose piece that helps secure it around the nose and eyes. I run and walk outside in the cold and it keeps my face warm and the cold hardly bothers me. Using it indoors as a face mask also works great. Unlike a normal face mask, it leaves no air gaps on the sides of the face and adheres firmly to the skin. The filter is right in front of your mouth. Such a well thought out product! I love the ability to add a filter to this gaiter to use as a face mask. The adjustable strap and the metal in the temple ensure a perfect fit. I wear mine on hikes and it keeps my face and ears warm in cold weather but lets me breathe without my glasses fogging up!

The Matek team did a great job of making the mask comfortable on and off the face. Most masks need somewhere to be stored when not in use, but this one can simply be draped around the neck like a scarf when not in use and then quickly donned when the mask is needed. The built in filter bag is a great addition and as a glasses wearer I love the built in metal nose piece which helps reduce lens fogging. It's hard to imagine a better system at any price. It was definitely a valuable purchase!
