I bought two of these because I do not expect such pumps to last much longer than one year, so if the first fails after a year I would have an immediate backup. Unfortunately, the first pump failed after only a week so I sent it back for exchange thinking it was just a fluke. I put in the second (back up) pump and it too failed within four days. I then found out the first pump I sent back could not be exchanged so I returned the second on as well for a refund on both. I am not at all…

Lives up to the specifications. I thought this pump might perform poorly due to the price but risked it anyway for the seldom occurrence of pumping out my swimming pool. Instead this little guy exceeded my expectations and did the job without an issue. It has very good head pressure and the GPM is very close to the stated amount. All of these qualities make this a great pump for the money and a great value.

I love this pump. I put it into a 5 gallon paint bucket, cut holes in the lid for cords and hoses as well as drain pipe from utility sing and plugged it in. Simple as that I have a working utility sink in my basement and been running every day now with no trouble.

The water turn on switch does not work half the time. Requires shaking of the actuator to turn on most times. So if you plan to put this somewhere where you want it to turn on automatically, or even stay running reliably until an area is drained.this is not the pump for you. It will shut off randomly, you have to keep checking it and pulling it out to shake the actuator. It has also very weak push to the water stream. I was not going uphill at all but it would only push the water through 25ft…

Sure made draining the hit tub a lot eiser. No messy yard now. Ran a line from the pump to my sewer. Drained the tub in about an hour.

pump works great but directions are terrible takes a while to figure out. Wouldn`t buy anyrhing from this company unless they give better manuals

Bought this to semi-drain our 22’ above ground pool and wasn’t let down. An afternoon of running quickly lowered the water line to 12”. Put it on the cover next and it wasn’t long before it was ready to be removed. Only thing I didn’t like was the $$$ (time, gas, and expense) to adapt the output to garden hose.

The pump is quiet, powerful and works well. However, the pump switch will only trigger when the switch is completely upside down with the cord pointing down. For that condition to occur, there needs to be a lot of water. Before you buy, make sure that you have the correct conditions that will make this work for you. It would work best in a narrow and deep sump pump basin.

Just read the instructions, attach the hose, put into the water and let it do the work. The little floater thing will turn it off when it reaches a low level that's it. so many uses for it a handy thing to have around.

I am puzzled that some people have reported it wont fit a standard garden hose. The description states "GHT 3/4" threads. It fit my garden hose perfectly. Maybe the threaded adapters were different for some people? I like the pump pretty well. It seems to work as expected. It's bigger than I expected. fairly tall. I don't like the float switch thing much. My previous pump did not have such a switch. and I don't need the float switch for my use. but I figured it would not hurt to have a pump…

I used this pump to drain a small above ground swimming pool. Drained real fast. You have to buy a drain hose to fit the outlet on the pump because a regular garden hose will not fit.

Worked nicely for one year, then the rotor stopped turning smoothly for some reason. Has to be something inside the motor. Now I own another piece of trash. I'll be buying a replacement pump that will last me at least 5 years, and it won't be this one

Reading the reviews and watching the videos on some of the competing products I thought I'll need to clear the last inch of water from the jacuzzi somehow. Well, this pump emptied the hot tub COMPLETELY! I just needed to wipe clean and refill, and it did it so fast I was super impressed (compared to the old pump we had that was funky and needed to be moved around/ kept upright/ slow).This is it! So happy with my purchase!

Used to empty a hot tub. Connected garden hose, placed in lowest spot, plugged in and water started flowing. Did have to lower float switch the lower water level got.

I bought this to pump a washing machine out of a shop and it only gets run a couple of loads a week, front loader so 15 gallons per load. It has worked great so far and relatively quite. But today I noticed a stream shooting out the side of the pump about the size of a ink pen tip. This thing is only 7 months old so no way should there be any sort of housing fatigue by now. Used one time to drain a pool then it stopped working and never worked again very cheap quality a waste of my money. Prone to rust or corrosion.

My swimming pool stabilizer went too high. I could either replace some water or use chemicals to bring it down. The chemicals for a one time treatment cost more than the pump, so easy decision to make. I would buy it again.

Pump was used to pump down an above ground pool for the winter. It did a good job no complaints here. The only cpmplaint I have is with the instruction manuel. It covered 2 other pumps produced by Deko not the model I perchased. Also the adaptor with the pump did not provide for the use for a 11/2" discharge hose.

I returned pump, it was priced well and worked well. What I was not aware of is that design limited it to stopping when water was still 2"+ deep. I needed a pump that would drain to a lower level.

The floating yellow thing would not stay afloat when I put the machine in the water. I had to attach something to hold it up.
