Review on DEKO 400W 1/2HP 1981GPH Submersible Sump Pump W/Float Switch & 16Ft Cable by Terry Napoleon

I bought two of these because I do not expect such pumps to last much longer than one year, so if the first fails after a year I would have an immediate backup. Unfortunately, the first pump failed after only a week so I sent it back for exchange thinking it was just a fluke. I put in the second (back up) pump and it too failed within four days. I then found out the first pump I sent back could not be exchanged so I returned the second on as well for a refund on both. I am not at all disappointed in Best Buy just the in the product (one product quickly failing is a shame, a second failing even faster is a poor design/quality control issue).
