This shovel suits us perfectly. I feel like we don't throw away as much cat litter as we do with scoops with wider screens. With this scoop you can shake off all the good residue and remove even the smallest clumps. We use super fine kitty litter and it really helps with kitty litter collection. The only thing that confuses me is that the point he's making seems a little unconvincing. It hasn't broken on ours and we use it daily, but I feel like it gives a little when you scoop into the corners. In retrospect, I would have bought it without a tip. The grip is nice and wide and feels very secure in use.
