I have had no problems with anything related to the construction, color, functionality and cleaning of it. I would of given this 5 stars, but I have one problem with it. The problem comes from how the manufacturer wraps and ships the product. They fold it to go in the plastic protective covering, which, by doing so, causes creases to form. I am so impressed with these mats. I've had cats my whole life and I can't believe I've never tried these before. Reduced litter getting tracked out of the box by like 99.5%. And when I'm vaccuming, just run it over the mats and everything is cleaned up! I appreciate that they offer a variety of colors- we got the beige which blends right into our floors. Awesome product which reduces the hassle of my least favorite part about having cats (the litter box!)

My cats' litter box is inside my bathroom vanity. The access to get to the litter box is a small rectangular cutout in the side of the vanity facing the bathtub. The cats were getting litter on the floor and in the bathtub, as they kicked it around in the litter box or it hitchhiked out of the vanity on their paws. The smell that came off of this thing was HORRIBLE! I tried soaking and scrubbing and the smell will not go away. It’s so awful I had people over when I opened it and we had to put it outside to air out because it was so bad. It will also not unfold and recommends 7 days to lay flat under an object but who wants to wait a week to use a product? It seems like it will do what it says it’s meant to do but it’s been a trial to even attempt to use it.

Absolutely a 5-star product. Excellent sizes and quality material. It definitely helps keeps some of the litter from tracking; exactly as described. NOTE: For those of you with cats who have accidents near the box, should know that even though the material itself seems 100% waterproof, the stitching at the sides connecting the top and bottom panels means that the product is not. I absolutely hate that this mat arrived folded in four! I put a heavy cabinet on it for a week as it recommended! It has now been in use for several weeks and it's still all bumpy and buckled like this! By the Black Hole mat - It arrived flat and I loved it so much That's why I wanted to purchase more but I made the huge mistake to buy a different brand thinking they were the same.

Works perfect. We keep our litter box in our closet as we live in an apartment. Keeps the cat litter off the floor and not on your feet. Easy to get liter out and clean. The only thing I didnt like what it came folded. Its to save money on shipping which I understand but you have to lay it under something for a few days to flatten back out.

This is huge and I love it! Doesn’t completely eliminate the scatter, but my cat is a spaz. When I empty it back into the box every week I can see how much mess there would be if it weren’t there!

This product is incredible I have tried many other mats in the last 30 years with out success. Still litter all over the floor. With this mat design NOT ONE SPEC of litter on the floor. We have 3 cats. I recommend everybody buy these mats you will not be disappointed. We have one large 35 x 25 mat with two little boxes having the Matt angled for them to step on when exiting the box! Life changing. This is a large mat that traps all the litter box overflow. It’s the best mat of its kind that I’ve seen. The grooves may be difficult to clean thoroughly.

I have a messy cat who spills litter out of her box constantly. This mat solved so many problems for me. It holds the litter and easily pours excess into the garbage/litter pan. It is very easy to clean and very durable. Totally recommend.

These mats work better than anything I've tried before. There is minimal tracking and no larger litter particles around the box anymore. I chose a color that matches our litter so it never looks messy and it is SOOOO easy to clean!

Quite a stiff mat. Enclosed paper says to put a 60lb box in the middle and wait. In about 7 days the folds should relax. Well - I put a 25 lb box of kitty litter on it overnight. The mat was mostly laying flat-ish so I put it in place. I wish I had gone for the larger size but that is my fault.

Fits perfect and controls the litter that kitty seems to drag out of the box with him. It’s a little more expensive, but it really works very well. Totally worth it!

This is a terrific idea, in general. It catches litter right outside the box and very little goes elsewhere in the house. However two drawbacks. It opens at both ends. That means when you squeeze it to tip it and dump litter out, litter can roll out toward you if not balanced just right. Arrived with a prominent bump along the fold line that will not settle out, even with heavy books on top for several days. Also, material is very hard/firm, making my cats avoid walking on it. Might be good at collecting littler, but only if cats will walk on it when they exit the litter box.

I have been a cat owner for over 30 years and this is the best product for using underneath the litter box! It is water proof, durable, trapped loose litter and even pee when my two boy cats missed the litter box! Love this product! And it goes well aesthetically with my litter box! I just bought another one so I can alternate. When one is wet with pee, I can wash it thoroughly with water and still have one under the litter box!

What the heck? I have a similar mat and since we have added a second litter box to our home, we needed another mat. The one I bought a couple of years ago is no longer available, so I gave this a try. It arrived FOLDED! I set a heavy box on it overnight and it didn’t flatten it out at all. See the picture. Also, none of the cats will step on it because every hole is surrounded by six little bumps. Each of our cats has put one paw on it and then backed away. Ouch! Returning!
