I was hesitant to leave a quick review but after a month or so of having this litter trapper it actually seems worse than the other one that we had. It fills with litter so quickly and I've noticed my cat has been dragging even more out with him now when he's done using it. I wouldn't recommend it.

I've used the nubby doormat style cat box mat and find this type much superior. The other style traps litter that is then hard to shake out of the weave but does not trap anywhere all of it. This mat traps most litter that is easy to shake free and return to the litter box.

The most effective litter trap mat I've ever owned. The two layers with the honeycomb design is brilliantly effective at trapping large amounts of litter while still looking clean. It's far easier to clean or dump back into the litter box than any other mat I've used. There is, of course, still some litter that falls outside of the mat but judging from the MASSIVE amount of litter that comes out of the mat when I clean it, it's doing a phenomenal job.Highly recommend over any alternative.

Kitty likes to use the mat as a claw sharpening device as well. It is fairly durable and catches a lot of litter, but not all of it. It is better than nothing!

The product is fine, one of my 3 cats is not so. She thinks that the litter that is trapped is justification for her to use this as an extension of the litter box. I prefer to swipe the litter off the floor that trying to clean the pee and poo from the rug.
