My 12-year-old dog was run over by a car. Nothing was broken, but she couldn't get up, so I quickly ordered this support to lift her rear end to get her on her feet. It came pronto, and works much better than the truck straps I was using. It is very well made, the handles are sturdy and easy to size, it is nice and big, and very soft. Fully washable, as well! I really like it and it works!

I bought this for my corgi who is paralyzed from DM. I was worried the straps would be too short for his low rider body. However, they adjust to be long enough. It was soft and cushy for him too. Unfortunately, I needed something that would enable him to pee while being held up. So I returned it.

This product is Awesome! I was worried it would not fit around my Rottweilers large back, he measures about 35" and weighs 125 lbs, but no problems since the straps are adjustable. We were using a long beach towel but it was very hard on my hands, this sling has made it so much easier. I definitely recommend it and am very glad I bought it.

I wish the straps were longer. We have a 25lb Schnauzer, I'm 5'6" and my wife is 5'2" and we both had to bend over to hold our dog when the straps were fully extended. Will probably be perfect for bigger dogs.

We’ve been using a towel for my senior lab who has neuropathy in his hind legs and can’t walk very far unassisted. He was over 100 lbs in his prime, definitely not quite that heavy anymore, but still a big boy. This product works beautifully. Our dogs back legs are really bad. She has a hard time getting up from a sitting position. This really helps out a lot, however if it could stay attached to her it would be even better. We have steps in our house and she doesn't realize that she has difficulty yet, so we have to run around looking for the harness quickly to able to help her before she attempts to go up and down stairs. Perfect fit when helping to lift dog down stairs. Sheepskin soft and comfy and doesn’t slip. My dog has degenerative myelopathy and is losing her rear legs. My Service Dog was hit by a truck, but thankfully his life was spared and suffered (only) a dislocated hip along with many lacerations. I looked at so many slings and decided on this one because of the comfort factor. I’m so glad I did. Our baby girl has been so weak due to steroid muscle wasting and I didn’t want anything adding to her discomfort, such as rough edges or uncomfortable fabrics. This is a lovely product and performs exactly as I’d hoped. The sling does not get in the way when she needs to "go” and can be moved out of the way easily if needed. When my dog began have arthritic pain in a rear leg, this allowed me to help him up and down the stairs comfortably. It is lined on both sides with soft fleece, and the handles are easy to holds.

I have tried every dog-lifting contraption on the market and although most of them "work”, they all have way too many straps and buckles. That is to say that they take way too long to put on. I have a 17 year old Aussie who has very bad hips and has to be carried up and down stairs, of which I have many. The Sgt Knots works because it’s easy on and off. I use it in conjunction with a soft harness that has a handle on top. That way, I can raise her shoulders with one and her hips with the other.

Bought this product to assist our lovely, loyal, elderly lady dog up and down the stairs in our home. She prefers having her feet on the ground as opposed to being carried although the weight is painful for her to bear, so this is the perfect helpful thing. Really soft for my dogs belly.she has hip dysplasia on both sides.she's only seven and was born with it. She's a Golden Retriever. I have a few different harnesses that work ok but like this soft one. It doesn't fasten at the top which is a small issue so This is used inside more. Still think it's great for it's comfort.

Have only used it a couple times because my dog's health issue actually improved much quicker than we'd expected. It is as described. It's not harsh/cutting against the dog's belly. However, if the dog doesn't like it, there's no restraint (like a halter) to keep it in place and the dog can worm its way out

My neighbors have been carrying their dog outside in their arms for the past week. I suggested a sling as an alternative and they insisted the dog would have nothing to do with one. I sent the fleece sling as a "gift" and the neighbors were delighted that the dog immediately adapted to it on the 1st day. A better/safer solution for all!

Our pup is almost 12 years old and has degenerative myelopathy. We use golden pasta with CBD but he still has a hard time getting around. This has saved our backs and doesn’t slip like a towel, so he is very sturdy with this. When we see him having trouble getting up, we will grab the sling and once he sees it he will start getting up and position himself to let us get it underneath him.
