My chow mix is 15 years old - and has a very hard time getting out to use the bathroom , so I purchased this item and it’s so helpful . It’s soft on his skin and doesn’t cut into him when I help him to go outside . It’s a god send for him and me . I was using a towel but without actual handles it was hard and the towel was rough against his underside but this is soft and works great ! Wish I would had gotten it years ago . Very helpful.

So, I reviewed this product when I first used it, and it wasn't favorable. My dog tore his ACL and had surgery. Those who know this procedure know that my dog can't walk on it for the first week, and can't do stairs for 8 weeks. So, I have to pick up my 93lb dog's rear legs to get him in and out of the house. This is the third dog sling I have tried (the others from other brands). I am a small woman with a 50 pound old guy, and the others could not be adjusted short enough. This is perfect! I can adjust it so it is comfortably for both of us, while providing stability. I love that it is soft. He seems to appreciate that, too!

This is perfect for my standard American Eskimo who has trouble with her hind legs and especially negotiating steps. It allows her the ability to continue to walk up the steps, but with a little help. It's like carrying a handbag up the steps. At night, she goes to the bottom of the steps and waits for me to put this on her. She also likes to still jump down the steps, which she absolutely cannot do. It lets me control how many steps you can go down at one time. I highly recommend this.

I was using a towel to transport my daughter’s paralyzed dog. It was breaking my back and wasn’t really comfortable for her. This product is easy to use. I can stand up straight, lift her like a suitcase and I’m certain it doesn’t cut into her belly. Super.

Bought this sling to help my 85 lb German Shepherd/Chow get down the two flights of stairs at my apartment after his CCL (ACL) surgery and it worked great! We had tried a different sling we bought and even a towel that was suggested by the vet and they only made my dog more nervous and hesitant to go down the stairs. This sling is SO soft and fluffy and my dog was much more comfortable and the straps are adjustable and make it really easy to take a little weight off for him!

Used this to support my 11 month old Alaskan Malamute after her hip replacement to correct hip dysplasia. I have a German Shepherd with DM and, although I have a cart and a fancy full-body harness, the Sgt Knots Support Harness is my go-to harness for getting my dog outside and for getting him into the dog van. I'm sure the fluffy material feels better than the towel I had been using and putting it on him takes about 2 seconds. I like the sheepskin sling as it provides extra padding and comfort. We've used the canvas one when our golden had ACL repair. But we bought this when our grand dog was chewed up rather badly by another dog. She had staples, sutures and drains involving her hip and belly. I wanted a sling that would provide the most comfort.

Our dog had surgery and she weighs approx. 125 lbs. Before I found this product, it took two of us to lift her using a towel to help her up. This can be used one person. Thanks for making this product so sturdy and soft for our girl.

this pet sling is great-there is no maneuvering to get it on or complicated straps. you simply slip it under your pets belly near his rear and it really helps keeping them steady when they have weak hind legs. its been a life saver for my almost 15 year old basset hound. so glad I found it!
