I have tried every dog-lifting contraption on the market and although most of them "work”, they all have way too many straps and buckles. That is to say that they take way too long to put on. I have a 17 year old Aussie who has very bad hips and has to be carried up and down stairs, of which I have many. The Sgt Knots works because it’s easy on and off. I use it in conjunction with a soft harness that has a handle on top. That way, I can raise her shoulders with one and her hips with the other.
