UPDATE: I thought the item was assembled backwards but turns out the hinge just swings back and forth and there is a VERY strong clamp (I thought I was going to break it). I just put it on my phone but wanted to fix mine. excellent rating. Seems like a lot of people break them - I think it's because the clamp is so strong. I'll be very careful with mine and see how long it lasts. I will update if it breaks due to poor quality. As for thinness - it's as thin as it gets. It will be interesting to see how this tiny piece of plastic holds up.
