This is a good lightweight travel tripod but it has limitations. The ball head looks very high quality. I have used a heavy duty carbon fiber tripod (Gitzo) and ball head (Really Right Stuff) for many years. So I'm probably biased towards heavy tripods. I shoot a lot of landscapes, nature, travel etc. Last year I swapped out my Nikon full frame DSLR and lens for a lighter system. I am currently using a Fujifilm XT2 with an 18-135mm lens. I also have Fuji 100-400mm. I was skeptical of the small travel tripod when it arrived. I only used it indoors as I thought I might have to send it back. In these ideal conditions (indoors, on a hard wooden floor, no wind, etc.) he was able to work with the 18-135 lens. in 0.5 sec. Exposure with 10 seconds shutter delay. But it didn't work for 3 seconds. A hit. I often use slow shutter speeds when photographing waterfalls, seascapes, etc., so this was the deciding factor. It didn't handle the heavier 100-400mm very well. I sent the tripod back after 2 days. A 4-section travel tripod that could be a bit more stable. But I don't think a small, lightweight travel tripod will do for me. At the moment I'm using my old tripod.
