Amazingly light and compact travel tripod! I use this thing all the time for landscape photography and love how compact it folds up for travel. I would NOT use it on heavier full frame DSLRs like my old Canon 5D series with L series battery and lenses, of course I'm tired of carrying this heavy beast with you and finally going mirrorless. The tripod itself can support the weight, but I wouldn't trust it to be stable, especially on uneven ground. This is a good lightweight travel tripod but it has limitations. The ball head looks very high quality. This is my second Vanguard tripod. I like a heavier one, but not for hiking. This works well with my Canon 80D and shorter lenses. However, I have found that I have to overtighten the ball knobs and then struggle to loosen them.
