Amazingly light and compact travel tripod! I use this thing all the time for landscape photography and love how compact it folds up for travel. I fold it up and throw it in my backpack and it doesn't add any weight at all. At the same time, it is still a very durable and fully functional tripod. By no means flimsy. Vanguard managed to create something light and compact without sacrificing quality. *****Review: After months of shooting with this tripod, I have to say that I now loathe twistlocks. I can't tell you how many times I thought my tripod was jammed, only to slowly slide it down one leg and then the other. It went so far that I would never buy a tripod with a twist lock again. Of course the build quality is good and it's very light, but that doesn't help when you're trying to take a picture but are still struggling with your tripod to snap it into place! I always try to verify the reliability of each twistlock and yet I manage to overlook it. Vanguard, please go back to Flip Locks!
