Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very good quality so far, seems to be very well made.

First of all I want to say that I am an amateur and only had "cheap" tripods. I recently bought one for about $75 and thought it would be MUCH better than the $35 but it isn't. This costs money. I couldn't justify spending $400-600 on a professional travel tripod, but I increased my budget and bought this one. I have to say the materials and design are fantastic. It doesn't seem cheap anywhere from ball head to toe. I haven't had a chance to use it for night shooting, but the stability seems a lot better than my $35 aluminum model. It's heavier, but not by a ton. It's also slightly larger than some travel tripods, but still compact enough to carry around. I suppose the size is due to the thickness of the tubes and thus helps with stability, but it's not much of a difference compared to a compact road bike aluminum. Generally I give 5 stars. I rarely give 5 stars. Hooray! Note. I had the opportunity to test it. This is by far the best I've ever had. The size is large and hardness is appreciated. Excellent quality ball head. I bought a quick release plate and it works great. You will not be disappointed.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
